Happy Acres Ranch is a day camp and preschool on 10 acres in the Holiday Hill- Glynlea Neighborhood in the Southside area of Jacksonville. First opened in 1953, Happy Acres has a relaxed, country atmosphere. As it's name inplies, it is a happy place for childern. Happy Acres is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and an Accredited Preschool Professional Learning Environment (APPLE) and has acheived a 5-Star rating.

Summer Camp at Happy Acres offers your children an unique opportunity to experience what summer camp should be without having to leave home or even the city. We provide a wide variety of activities for our campers to enjoy including:

Games	Kayaking/Canoeing	Horseback Riding

The Summer Camp program is divided into 10 weeks, with each week having a different theme.

Session 1	Friends Forever Week World of Nations	June 14 - 18 June 21 - 25
Session 2	Caribbean Week All American Week	June 28 - July 2 July 6 - 9 *Closed July 5^th
Session 3	Star Search Week Wacky Olympics Week	July 12 - 16 July 19 - 23
Session 4	Sports Blast Week Water World Week	July 26 - 30 Aug. 2 - 6
Session 5	Western Week Retro Week	Aug 9 - 13 Aug 16 - 20

The Camp Program operates from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a large group activity until 5:00 PM. Playground supervision is provided before and after the program at no extra charge. Campers may enroll for one week or all summer. Summer Camp Application

Happy Acres transports to and from Holiday Hill Elementry during the school year. Campers may be dropped off as early as 6:15 AM, and picked up as late as 5:45 PM. Call for more information.
